By using the Check.EY app, you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

Check.EY is a mobile app designed to support early years professionals in identifying and recording potential risks in their setting.

2. User Responsibility

  • The Check.EY app provides a basic risk assessment template. It is not exhaustive.

  • It is your responsibility to assess risks accurately and appropriately in your setting.

  • Upgrading the app unlocks additional features, including the ability to add custom risks.

  • We are not liable for any incident, harm, loss, or damage arising from risks that are unrecorded, unchecked, or unaddressed by you or your setting.

3. Payment and Upgrades

  • The app offers in-app purchases for additional features.

  • All payments are processed securely through Apple or Google depending on your device.

  • Refunds are subject to the App Store or Google Play refund policies.

4. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for any outcomes resulting from reliance on the app’s content or features. The app is a supportive tool and should not replace professional judgment or statutory guidance.

5. Account & Use

You agree not to misuse the app or interfere with its proper functioning. We may suspend access if you violate these terms.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the app without prior notice if you breach these terms or misuse the service.

7. App Availability

We aim to keep the app updated and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be modified or removed at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, including templates, code, branding, and visuals, are owned by Powerful Practitioners or licensed appropriately. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute the app’s content without permission.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
